Boys Boys Boys. . .

We had some visitors over and of course A and E were bouncing off the walls. Head butting their legs, jumping on their back and freaking out. So I chucked them both in the kitchen and told them, "You are out of control." Angrily A turns to me, hands on his hips and snaps, "No Mom! YOU are out of control!"

A comes up to me and tells me very officially, "Mom, I'm smarter than you. I'm not smarter than Dad, but I am smarter than you."

A and E were wrestling today and it was A's day. He was doing really good keeping his little brother subdued, although E put up a pretty good fight. Once they were finished, Daddy and I told E he did a really good job! He looked over at Daddy M angrily from the floor and said, "No, I din not!!" he flailed his arms on the ground and continued, "He's still alive!"

E and A were playing T-ball today with A's new gear. I of course laid down the rules. No hitting anyone with the bat. No swinging at the ball until every body and body part is clear. Simple enough. Not 5 minutes into it, I hear a blood curdling scream from A. E runs inside, eyes big, and says, "I din'n know what I was doing!" Big brother had a pretty good goose egg on his head.

Thanks for the Help

Twinkle Little Star

There are some moments I am glad I do not miss with my kids. Yes there are the days that I want to scream, punch a hole in the wall, drop kick a dog, because my kids drive me crazy!!! But then there are the days that they do the cutest little things. They say the sweetest things. And I am reminded of how special they are and that not only do I love them, but so does their Heavenly Father. I was able to record a cute little moment of Aydens'. He's learning how to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star in nursery. For those of you that don't know what that is, its the 'class' he goes to during church for the 18 month-3 year olds. Here the link to the video:Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Sorry its sideways. I forget that I can't rotate it on our computer... OR I just don't know how to rotate. This little moment is what makes me glad to be a Mom. It makes those unsightly stretch marks not so depressing- yes Melissa you WILL get stretch marks!. :) And it makes those days where I feel so inadequate, so unqualified to be a Mom, a little easier to handle.
I just can't stand to have a post not have a picture! Seeing a photo is half the fun of looking at peoples' blogs!

Ha Ha. That video was so cute! I love how the first half of the song was like a "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" rap!

I agree with the sending pictures is half the fun of doing a blog. We ... that means me, dad, Melissa, Nathan, and Daniel..... all look for a blog posting every time we turn on the computer. The video made my day. I had to watch it twice...or four times... cuz it makes me laugh.
Love ya MOM
