Boys Boys Boys. . .

We had some visitors over and of course A and E were bouncing off the walls. Head butting their legs, jumping on their back and freaking out. So I chucked them both in the kitchen and told them, "You are out of control." Angrily A turns to me, hands on his hips and snaps, "No Mom! YOU are out of control!"

A comes up to me and tells me very officially, "Mom, I'm smarter than you. I'm not smarter than Dad, but I am smarter than you."

A and E were wrestling today and it was A's day. He was doing really good keeping his little brother subdued, although E put up a pretty good fight. Once they were finished, Daddy and I told E he did a really good job! He looked over at Daddy M angrily from the floor and said, "No, I din not!!" he flailed his arms on the ground and continued, "He's still alive!"

E and A were playing T-ball today with A's new gear. I of course laid down the rules. No hitting anyone with the bat. No swinging at the ball until every body and body part is clear. Simple enough. Not 5 minutes into it, I hear a blood curdling scream from A. E runs inside, eyes big, and says, "I din'n know what I was doing!" Big brother had a pretty good goose egg on his head.

Thanks for the Help

It's Going Around

I finally have something to share! Unfortunately it's kind of sad news. A has been sick since last Thursday. We finally took him to the doctor's this morning and found out that both of his ears are infected. That was a shocker since he hasn't been complaining at all about his ear! He has a fever of 100 still. I'm just glad that it's not 103 like it was a few days ago!
There's been a lot of sleeping, crying, cool baths, medicine, pediasure, pedialyte, coughing and loooong nights for everyone.
Pediasure Goatee!

E has felt a bit left out since A has been sick. He's made up for this in extra teasing of his brother who can't defend himself properly.

E stalking his prey.... a.k.a his sick brother.

Going for the kill!

A was clearly not impressed with this.

So E and Mommy decided to go out and play for a while so A could rest. We decided to go to Kangaroo Zoo!

First, E had to get his sexy on.
And then we went to have some fun!

 Jumping!
 Running!
Yelling at the camera like a celebrity yells at the paparazzi!
 Scaling Mount Everest!
And sliding down her at rocket speed!
And then of course, pretending to be a half a caterpillar!

Needless to say, once we got home it was time to sleep. . . Or maybe not.

Slowing down does not exist yet in Es vocabulary. At least we gave the sick boy some time to rest. Hopefully he'll be better soon. It's not fun to have your kid get sick, especially when they cough in your face and then try to kiss you with slobbery little lips.
