Boys Boys Boys. . .

We had some visitors over and of course A and E were bouncing off the walls. Head butting their legs, jumping on their back and freaking out. So I chucked them both in the kitchen and told them, "You are out of control." Angrily A turns to me, hands on his hips and snaps, "No Mom! YOU are out of control!"

A comes up to me and tells me very officially, "Mom, I'm smarter than you. I'm not smarter than Dad, but I am smarter than you."

A and E were wrestling today and it was A's day. He was doing really good keeping his little brother subdued, although E put up a pretty good fight. Once they were finished, Daddy and I told E he did a really good job! He looked over at Daddy M angrily from the floor and said, "No, I din not!!" he flailed his arms on the ground and continued, "He's still alive!"

E and A were playing T-ball today with A's new gear. I of course laid down the rules. No hitting anyone with the bat. No swinging at the ball until every body and body part is clear. Simple enough. Not 5 minutes into it, I hear a blood curdling scream from A. E runs inside, eyes big, and says, "I din'n know what I was doing!" Big brother had a pretty good goose egg on his head.

Thanks for the Help

Seven Peaks and Brothers

So I'm not so happy with the focus of this photo, but its the only one I have from Ayden's and my Seven Peaks date. We had a lot of fun. We played in the lazy river, he was pretty scared of it, but once he got used to it- he had a lot of fun. We played in the wave pool and that I think was his favorite thing. Mostly because he liked getting knocked back into me when the waves wiped him out. We are currently working on getting him comfortable sliding down a water slide, even if the water slide is only 1 foot long. He is absolutely mortified. I got him to the top of one slide and he nervously told me over and over again, "I dot choo! I dot choo!" (I got you.) But of course he just sat there saying that, so I grabbed the bottom of his foot and pulled.
Ethan is six months old now and is crawling all over the place! This does mean that he plays with Ayden's toys and Ayden does not appreciate this...ever. A few days ago I caught Ayden laying on Ethan's bottom half so the poor guy couldn't move. I can only imagine that Ayden didn't want him to have something of his... either that or he's just being a big brother. :)

Yeah they had it there again. Lots of fun, Ayden and I pretty much chilled in the lazy river and the wave pool. They didn't do the drawing they did last year. :S But I guess that's to be expected with the economy the way it is.
